So school has been more busier than usual and I'm trying to get through one day at a time. Learn so much, and my professor said OB/Labor&Delivery/Postpartum is one of the happiest floors to be on. I can definitely see that where patients are usually healthier and it's a more positive experience. I also think music majors would probably make super Obstetric nurses... Since I know many if not all have trained their ears to hear different off keys in music, they can definitely use that sense of hearing to differentiate between the accelerations and decelerations of the fetal heart monitor machine.
Anywho, here are some quotes that helped me got by ~ (posted on my facebook hehe)
May the bird of my love
escape from the cage
of personal limitations
and fly
singing the song of the Spirit
through all hearts and minds.

熟能生巧 [shú néng shēng qiǎo] (Chinese idiom)
Literally: "with familiarity you learn the trick"
/ "practice makes perfect"
*****
Chen Yaozi (陈尧咨) lived during the Song Dynasty (宋朝) and was a famous archer. Because he was such an excellent s...hot, he became a bit cocky about his skill.
One day, Chen Yaozi demonstrated his archery skills to a large group of people. Everyone was awed that his shooting was accurate, that is all but one man.
Chen Yaozi took notice of this old man's indifference. "Hey, are you an archer? Can you do better than me?"
The old man shrugged off his scolding. "Well, you are really good at what you do. So what? It is only a matter of practice."
"How dare you insult me! What skill do you have, old man?" asked Chen with resentment.
So, the old man got a gourd which contained oil, a coin with a hole in the center, and a ladle. He put the coin over the mouth of the gourd, and poured oil from the ladle through the hole in the coin. Not even one drop of oil touched the coin!
Everyone was just as amazed at the old man's skill as they were with Chen's. "This really isn't anything special, I’ve just been at it for a long time" replied the old man.
Chen conceded that the man had a point and was afterwards more humble.
From this story, the phrase 熟能生巧 arose. It means with time, a skill can be mastered with after plenty of effort.
